Jon has been in the insurance industry for six years, spending the majority of time on the agency side, but also working as an underwriter for a national carrier. His experience has included small and mid-size commercial clients, as well as large regional and multi-national clients. He has worked with clients who self-insure Workers' Compensation, as well as clients who have self-insured significant trusts to meet judicial requirements. Jon has completed The Hartford School of Insurance for new producers, The Cincinnati Insurance Commercial Lines School, portions of the Accredited Advisor in Insurance program and other various educational workshops addressing specific insuring clauses. He has also served as an advisor to insurance companies concerning their technology, products and service capabilities, including The Hartford and Secura.

Jon is a graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and graduated with his Associate in Arts degree from Southwestern Michigan College with honors. He has served on the Niles Community Schools Strategic Planning Advisory Committee, the Board of the Southwestern Michigan Volunteer Center and as a Junior Achievement classroom volunteer for both Niles Community Schools and Buchanan Community Schools. In his free time, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, golfing and reading.
