Elaine has worked in the insurance industry for over 10 years, serving in positions from receptionist to manager, in both commercial and personal lines. She completed the requirements for her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation, and has completed numerous continuing education courses, including education in environmental remediation and restoration following a loss.

Elaine is active in the community, serving as President of the Niles-Buchanan YMCA Board of Directors and as a trustee for Niles Community Schools Board of Education (formerly serving as President). Her background includes working for a locally-owned insurance agency as well as for a national broker, serving mid-sized and large commercial clients.

In her spare time, Elaine enjoys playing volleyball, golfing and entertaining her grandchildren. She and her husband also enjoy spending time in the Traverse City area, where they enjoy the outdoors, restaurants, golf and wine.
